Who can join NMC Baseball?

We welcome players of all skill levels who are passionate about improving their game. Teams are organized by age group and ability level to ensure appropriate development for every athlete.

How can I try out for NMC Baseball?

Simply visit our Tryouts Page and complete the online registration form. Once submitted, you’ll receive details about upcoming tryout dates, times, and locations.

What should I bring to tryouts?

Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats, water bottle, and any personal baseball gear. Please arrive early to warm up and check in before tryouts begin.

What happens after tryouts?

After evaluations, selected players will be notified via email or phone. Accepted athletes will receive program details, schedules, and registration instructions to officially join the team.

Do all teams have paid coaches?

All high school aged teams have paid coaches. Teams in the 10-14u range typically have volunteer dad coaches with occasional exceptions.

Where do we practice?

In the winter, all NMC teams practice at both the Ashland University Niss Athletic Center, and NMC Performance in Burbank, OH.

In the summer, high school aged teams will practice at the Ashland University baseball field. Our 10-14u teams will practice at a variety of locations.

Do we play in leagues?

In certain situations, a team in the 10-13u age range may participate in league play. No NMC teams ages 14 and up play in leagues, they only play in tournaments.

How do payments work?

Families can make payments easily and securely through the Make a Payment section on our website. All payment details and due dates are shared once a player joins the program.
